Iyengar Yoga incorporates the use of props (blocks, blankets, walls, and more) for proper execution of yoga asana (poses or postures). Focusing strongly on alignment, Iyengar is wonderful for beginners to life-long practitioners. Taught by Roberta Tewes, an Iyengar certified instructor.
Yuan Gong-Qi ("Chi")Gong is based in the ancient Chinese mind-body health practice that has been around for at least 5,000 years. When properly practiced, Yuan Gong has been shown to increase physical and mental well-being, such as improving one's own ability to relax and stay calm, to stabilize emotions, to increase Qi (life force) in the body which benefits overall health and much, much more. Gentle movements and meditation accompany this practice. Taught by Roya Arasteh , a certified Yuan Gong-Qi Gong instructor. Classes return in November 2017!
Hatha Yoga is the yoga of energy, the physical form of yoga from which all other styles and forms - such as Vinyasa, Power, Hot Yoga, etc - have their origin. Focusing on pranayama (breathing), asana (poses), and meditation, this practice works with the physical and mental aspects of the practitioner to bring about a union within body, breath, mind.
Hatha Flow classes weave movement with breath to connect each pose using transitions such as Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Dog Pose) or Balasana (Child's Pose). Variations and modifications are given to keep this practice accessible to all-levels of practitioner. Taught by Emily McConnell, certified RYT-200 through Western Yoga College of India and At One Yoga.
Gentle Hatha Flow is a slower-pace than regular Hatha Flow classes, giving extra time for the body to release tension, to ground and energize. Options for using props and modifications are given throughout class, finishing with a restorative Savasana. Taught by Emily McConnell.

Donation Yoga is Hatha inspired and fun! Every Friday night at 5:30pm. Donation does not mean free, it is an energetic exchange :)

Slow Burn Yoga Flow is taught by Shayla Workman - certified RYT-200 through Western Yoga College and At One Yoga. You will be guided through a slow hatha-based yoga sequence, with a sweat-inducing blend of stretching and strengthening, lengthened pauses in poses, and ending with an extended Savasana.
Chakra Awakening Yoga Flow is taught by Shayla Workman. Each class will have an intention setting, asana, pranayama, and mudras (hand gestures) all focused on awakening and nourishing a specific chakra (energy center) within the body, ending with an extended Savasana.
Vinyasa Flow classes use a flow - or transition - from one asana to the next, making this style more of a dance of movement and breath. Inspired by traditional Ashtanga, with emphasis on awareness of alignment through transitions and moving with breath. These classes can be booked by appointment, or as a series with Emily McConnell.
