This style of yoga incorporates the use of props (blocks, blankets, walls, and more) for proper execution of asana (poses or postures).  Focusing strongly on alignment, Iyengar is wonderful for beginners to life-long practitioners. 

Hatha Yoga

The yoga of Energy, the physical form of yoga from which all other styles and forms - such as Vinyasa, Power, Hot Yoga, etc - have their origin. Focusing on pranayama (breathing), asana (poses), and meditation, this practice works with the physical and mental aspects of the practitioner to bring about a union within body, breath, mind.

Hatha Flow with Emily McConnell, RYT-200

Tuesdays and Fridays 5:30pm - 6:45pm

These classes are based in classical Hatha Yoga, weaving movement and breath to connect each pose using transitions such as Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Dog Pose) or Balasana (Child's Pose). Variations and modifications are given to keep this practice accessible to all-levels of practitioner.

Gentle Hatha Flow with Emily McConnell, RYT-200

Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-11:30am

This class has a slower-pace than regular Hatha Flow classes, giving extra time for the body to release tension, to ground and energize. Options for using props and modifications are given throughout class, finishing with a restorative Savasana.

Donation Yoga with Emily McConnell, RYT-200

Fridays 5:30pm - 6:45pm

Hatha inspired and fun! Sometimes active and sweaty, sometimes restorative and meditative. Every Friday night at 5:30pm to get your weekend started with grounded, focused energy. Donation does not mean free, it is an energetic exchange :)

Good Morning Flow with Shayla Workman, RYT-200

Mondays 10:00-11:15AM

A sweet and gentle, flowing mid-morning wake-up. Gentle Hatha-based yoga sequences, inspired movement, intention setting, and pranayama.

Evening Unwind Yoga with Shayla Workman, RYT-200

Thursdays 5:30-6:45PM

Relax and Unwind from your day while letting go of thoughts, stresses and concerns through focused movement and pranayama. Build strength and resilience in the mind and body as you are guided through thematic classes that end with an extended Savasana.

Chakra Awakening Yoga Flow with Shayla Workman, RYT-200

Offered for special occasions, or workshops

Each class will have intention setting, asana, pranayama, and mudras (hand gestures) all focused on awakening and nourishing a specific Chakra (energy center) within the body, ending with an extended Savasana.

Restorative Yoga w/ Hot Stones with Shayla Workman, RYT-200

Offered for special occasions, or workshops

Restorative Yoga is a style of yoga that encourages deep relaxation, helps to nourish connective tissues, and serves as a reflection time for your hard working body and mind. Most poses are passive, assisted and supported with props, and with absolutely no strain in the body or mind. Hot stones will be used throughout the class and be placed on specific Chakra zones to cultivate awareness and encourage the nervous system to calm. Finishes with extended time in Savasana.

Yuan Gong-Qi ("Chi")Gong with Roya Arasteh - certified Yuan Gong-Qi Gong instructor

Based in the ancient Chinese mind-body health practice that has been around for at least 5,000 years. When properly practiced, Yuan Gong has been shown to increase physical and mental well-being, such as improving one's own ability to relax and stay calm, to stabilize emotions, to increase Qi (life force) in the body which benefits overall health and much, much more. Gentle movements and meditation accompany this practice. There are no current ongoing classes with Roya at this time, but we hope to host her for more workshops in the future!
